uFM Radio, a sister company of Atheeb Holding Company, clinched a total of six awards at the conclusion of the 16th Gulf Radio and Television Festival organized by the Gulf Radio and Television Organization for GCC, held from May 28-30, 2024, in Manama, Bahrain, under the theme of "Our Media is Our Identity."
Representing Saudi Arabia, uFM Radio stood out with two Golden Sail awards in the breaks category for its programs “Mamalek Arabiya” and “Darb Al Qalaq”, as well as two Silver Sail awards in the visual production category and quiz programs category for “Baynana Abtaal” and “El Tahaddi“, respectively. Moreover, uFM Radio secured a Golden Sail and a Silver Sail in the sports category for its programs “Bayn Ithneen” and “Football Voice“, respectively.
The Gulf Radio and Television Festival stands as the largest congregation of Arab media professionals, wherein government and private television and radio stations vie to elevate the standards of performance, production, and media leadership both regionally and internationally within the GCC countries.
uFM Radio holds the distinction of being the first specialized radio station in Saudi Arabia equipped with cutting-edge technologies in production and broadcasting.
