Atheeb Group Participates in the 2024 World Defense Show

The 2024 World Defense Show, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), concluded after a five-day run from February 4 to 8. This biennial event, one of the leading global gatherings in the defense and security industry, was held in Riyadh and featured 773 exhibitors from 76 countries, attracting over 100,000 visitors. The 2024 edition focused on the future of defense, showcasing the latest technological advancements across land, sea, air, space, and security sectors.

Atheeb Group participated in the World Defense Show for the second consecutive time, represented by its subsidiaries Pannesma Company Limited and Atheeb Intergraph Saudi Company (AISC). Throughout the exhibition, Atheeb Group and its subsidiaries highlighted their national capabilities and extensive expertise in technology and defense systems, and command and control systems (C4ISR) development, support and implementation, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for all military assets.

The opening day was attended by HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of Atheeb Group, and HRH Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Vice Chairman of Atheeb Group, who were received by His Excellency Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, Governor of GAMI.

During the course of the five days, Atheeb Group’s booth was visited by numerous prominent industry figures, who were welcomed by Chairman HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed, Vice Chairman HRH Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz bin, and CEO Mr. Saad Omar AlBaiz.

On the first and second days, Atheeb Group's booth was visited by His Excellency Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation; His Excellency Bandar Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources; and Major General Eng. Dr. Mansour bin Munif Al-Dosari, Head of the Communications and Information Technology Commission of the Armed Forces.

On the third day, the Atheeb Group booth received visits from Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces; Staff Major General Samah Abdulrahman Al-Zahrani, Vice President of the Communications and Information Technology Commission of the Armed Forces; and Major General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Gharibi, Deputy Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.

During their tour of the exhibition, the Atheeb Group team, led by Vice Chairman, visited the Ministry of Defense’s space defense pavilion and met with Major General Pilot Staff Suleiman Al-Fayez, head of the executive team for establishing the Air and Space Forces. The team also visited booths of leading security and defense companies, including the Middle East Maritime Repair Company (MEMR) and INTRA Defense Technologies.

The fourth day saw visits from Mr. Walid Abukhaled, CEO of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI); His Excellency Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff; and Major General Turki bin Musa Al-Tasan, Chief of Aviation at the Ministry of National Guard. Additionally, Their Excellencies Assistant Minister of Defense Eng. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled Biyari, and GAMI Governor Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Ohali visited the Atheeb Group booth.

Throughout the exhibition, the Atheeb Group booth also hosted delegations from global defense and security companies such as Raytheon Saudi Arabia, BAE Systems SDT, L3 SAMI JV, and Collins Aerospace.

On the final day, the Atheeb Group booth welcomed ambitious young students from schools and universities—the pillars of Saudi Vision 2030 and future leaders. They were introduced to the group's work in technology and defense and informed about cooperative training and employment opportunities offered by Atheeb Group.
