The Arabian Horse Festival “Jawadi” concluded its second edition on the evening of Saturday, January 6, 2024, after two exhilarating days at Jump Saudi in Janadriyah, Riyadh, organized and implemented by Athbah Arts, a subsidiary of Atheeb Group. The festival witnessed the launch of Saudi Breeders’ Cup Second Edition, organized by the Arabian Horse Organization (AHO), whose Board of Directors is chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and supervised by King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center. A total of 200 Arabian horses and 113 breeders and owners competed for the gold, silver and bronze cheered on by an audience of Arabian horse fans and admirers.

The prizes of the first day were awarded to winners by His Excellency the Minister of Sports, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal. Among those who attended the festival was also a number of esteemed guests and prominent figures.

The festival housed a myriad of activities that satisfied the taste of every visitor, including an Arabian horse art gallery where talented Saudi artists displayed their work, and the lavishly furnished “Diwaniyat Athbah”, a traditional lounge inspired by the authentic Saudi culture and heritage, in addition to many Saudi folklore live performances, as well as luxury restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Athbah Arts is the culmination of over ten years of achievements by Athbah Stud. Its main goal is to preserve the heritage of the Arabian horse by enhancing its stature, raising awareness and educating the public about all aspects related to equestrianism. Athbah Arts thus seeks to design, implement and create captivating, purposeful and innovative equestrian entertainment events and festivals such as JAWADI, which manifest the combined beauty of purebred Arabian horses and Saudi history and heritage, and meet the aspirations of society in line with the ambitious Vision 2030. Through JAWADI festival, Athbah Arts is able to connect artists, performers and local business owners with Arabian horse fans and breeders, and build a platform for them to show their work and products, share their passions, and celebrate the deep-rooted Saudi heritage and the illustrious Arabian horse.
